Newsprint themed menu design for a Caernarfon venue
The Story
Twm from the Galeri kitchen and bar in Caernarfon wanted a new look for the restaurants new menu. He wanted something with some historical relevance as Galeri is based in the historic Doc Fictoria and sees a large amount of local and tourist footfall.

The Result
Working with Twm we landed on a newspaper themed aesthetic, referencing Caernarfon's 19th century status as the print capital of Wales. The design used a clear simple print with a splash of halftone to highlight important menu items with Welsh on one side and English the reverse.
